A full day tour with early morning departures on Tuesdays and Sundays
from Central Cape Town Hotels. Meals are not included.
We
head out towards Somerset West, continuing along the spectacular
Marine Drive, past Gordon’s Bay. At the seaside village of
Betty’s Bay, we visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens
(time permitting). We then drive to the quaint fishing town of Hermanus,
where you may be lucky enough to spot a few Southern Right Whales,
as this area is world famous for whale watching (seasonal). After
lunch we visit the Old Harbour, before travelling back towards Cape
Town. We pass through the town of Elgin, in the apple growing region
of the Cape. The road then leads us over the spectacular Sir Lowry’s
Pass, which offers breathtaking views over the Cape Peninsula. All
entrance fees are included. Lunch is for your own account.
