Kapama Lodge lies in the heart of the reserve in a scenic waterside setting, the game viewing at Kapama is excellent as one would expect at this long established reserve, the varied terrain with it’s lakes and rivers offers spectacular sightings of hippo and water birds as well as the ‘big 5’.

The lodge is built in traditional brick and thatch, it’s attractive wooden decks overlook the large lake where many water birds may be seen, there is an open bar beside the restaurant which is the perfect place to swap exciting stories of your day in the bush with fellow guests.There is a good-sized swimming pool for lazing in the sun between game drives and a shop for souvenirs or bush clothing. Kapama Lodge has 19 spacious semi-detached suites, each has a large en-suite bathroom, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities.There is a delightful outdoor dining boma for campfire dinners under the stars.
