Day 1: Arrive George
On arrival at George Airport you will be met by a Thompsons Representative and assisted to collect your hired car. This afternoon, play a round of golf at the Links Golf Course at Fancourt, home to the President’s Cup in 2003 and the Woman’s World Cup in 2005, for golfers staying at Fancourt Hotel only. Golfers staying at Protea Hotel King George enjoy around of golf at George Golf Course. This hotel overlooks the 11th fairway of the famous George Golf Course, which is presently rated 7th in the country.
Day 2: Fancourt Country Club
This morning play a round of golf at Fancourt Country Club (Bramble Hill). This Gary Player designed course is a demanding but fair test set in beautiful surroundings. This afternoon we suggest a visit to Oudtshoorn, the ‘feather capital’ of the world because of its large ostrich industry, and the Cango Caves.
Day 3: Knysna
Depart George and travel along the picturesque Garden Route to Knysna. We suggest a ferry ride across the estuary to the Featherbed Nature Reserve (own account), where you can view the ‘Heads’, two majestic rock cliffs at the lagoon’s entrance.
Day 4: Pezula Country Club (ex Sparrebosch)
Make your way to Pezula Country Club and enjoy a round of golf. This magnifi cent green was designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of Golfplan, California.
Day 5: Depart George
Check out and travel to George Airport where you drop off your hired car and board your onward flight.
